Avera Gregory Medical Clinic is located in Gregory, South Dakota and is
supported by six physicians and one nurse practitioners. Avera Gregory Medical Clinic is
owned by Avera McKennan Hospital and University Health Center
and has been affiliated with Avera Health since February 1997.
Services provided at
the Avera Gregory Medical Clinic include family medicine
including obstetrics, endoscopy, colonoscopy, minor surgery,
geriatrics including full range of nursing home services, sport
physicals, wellness counseling, radiology and lab.
Specialty clinics available with visiting physicians,
pediatrics, MRI, CT and ultrasound available and home health
including DME.
Local attractions
include world class fishing, excellent pheasant and deer hunting
as well as other wild game. The community boasts a golf course,
excellent
school system, small town family atmosphere, hunting lodges, and
a variety of retail and grocery stores. Churches
include Lutheran, Southern Baptist, Catholic, Methodist, Congregational,
Episcopal, Berean, Assembly of God, and Jehovah Witness.

Fees/Billing
Fees for professional
services, laboratory, x-ray and other special services are based
on the nature and extent of the services rendered.
Billing statements are sent
out at varying times of the month, depending on the first letter
of your last name. Statements are sent to the head of
household. All charges are due and payable within 30 days.
All co-payments are due and payable at the time of service.
All patients are required to show their medical coverage cards
at each visit. If you have any questions regarding your
account, please feel free to call.
If you are receiving care for
a work-related injury, please notify the receptionist when you
arrive for your appointment. We will need to obtain
employer information for billing purposes.

Insurance
It is the patient's
responsibility to provide our business office with accurate
insurance policy information. We will submit claims to
your insurance company as a courtesy. However, the account
balance is ultimately the patient's responsibility. For
those without insurance, payment plans are available.
All providers at the
Avera Gregory Medical Clinic participate with Medicare Part B. Claims are sent by the
clinic, and Medicare sends payments directly to the clinic.
The clinic also files claims for supplemental Medicare
insurance. Patients with supplemental insurance need to
provide policy information to the business office so that claims
can be sent.

available to assist you with any questions you have regarding
insurance processing.
